Harewood End Agricultural Society donates over £7,000 following fundraising ball
The Harewood End Agricultural Society has donated thousands of pounds to St Michael’s Hospice.
The total of £7,550 was collected following a fundraising ball held by the South Herefordshire-based group.
A number of Society members visited St Michael’s to hand over the money to the Hospice’s Income Generation, Marketing & Communications Director, Rachel Jones.
“We are absolutely delighted to receive this wonderful donation from the Harewood End Agricultural Society,” said Rachel.
“We appreciate a lot of hard work went into organising this ball for the benefit of our patients and families. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this incredible donation, which will help so many in our community.”
Following the presentation, the group received a tour of the Bartestree-based Hospice, and its gardens and grounds.
