Welcome to the

Harewood End Agricultural Society website.

Our story:

The Society membership is made up of diverse group of people with a connection to agriculture and the local rural community. The original principles, set out when the Society was formed in 1890, to promote and improve the local agricultural knowledge and understanding, remain to this day.

The principle activities are the farm and livestock competitions held in June and the annual dinner and dance held in November. Various other meetings, tours, sports and social occasions are also held through the year.

Fund raising for charity is an important part of the aims of the Society and we particularly like to support charities with a local or agricultural relevance.

The Society also aims to help educate children and can help facilitate visits to local farms.
